quickening, until a firm grip leaves only a shiver
He glides again, gracefully and peacefully into the sky

The Stone-Walled Lane

Tipping its rough skin
soothing the deep wrinkles,
come down along the long stone walls
wondering where the end will be
Sometimes cold in the shade
and other times heated hot under the scorching sun,
all you have in your hands
will be some gritty dust rustling on your fingertips
…
Now you’ll wonder
why you’re walking down the lane
and when the end will come
…
Oh don’t grumble, it doesn’t matter anyway!
You’d seen a flower bed full of violet mums,
their color you can’t tell from whence it came, from dusk or dawn?
Those flowers grew as they drunk shellfish blood,
and that was the end of this endless lane!

The Starry Night

…  Lee JiSeon writes:This is the one of the most famous drawings of Vincent van Gogh.  Actually, he is quite famous not only for his marvelous drawings but for his insane act.  Gogh was obsessed with his brother, and his closest friend, Paul Gauguin.
Due to his gloomy life, most of his paintings are also dark.  However, I like that kind of atmospheres, and the picture “The Starry Night” clearly exhibits Gogh’s spirit.  When I see this picture I just feel comfortable and sometimes get melancholy.
