Althaea
It was the day before yesterday
You told me that I should stay
Here with harsh reality; Nay
I wanted to follow the fogged way.
.
You were the last string that held
Me in this cold world that yield
No sunshine, which made me wield
Madness by which I was killed.
In this chaos where I couldn’t see
Anything but deep black stormy sea
trudging into the mire through the allee
I found a small white dying althaea.
.
Struggling in the mire of death,
It was fighting like Achilles of myth.

Hope of Eradicating Structural Violence? — by Kim Hyeong-Bin
… In general, there are two kinds of responsibility: responsibility to oneself and responsibility to others. Whether the case is, for me, always responsibility is the first criteria to consider when I decide something. Therefore, I was easily impressed by the character, Batman in the movie Dark Night, who tries to protect Gotham city from Joker based on his responsibility on his supernatural power, and other hero characters in typical Hollywood movie. I respect Sejong the Great who did his responsibility as the king of entire country. And, I often try to do not break down easily based on the responsibility of KMLA student. Relates with structural violence, responsibility toward society is necessary to upper class, in my opinion… Artists are Starving – by Lee Hyo-Young Foot and Mouth Disease — by Park Hyung-Jun . On Artificial Intelligence ? – by Park Hyung-Jun
Summary: .-the humans are not much of an intricately designed species
-artificial intelligence will be devised sooner or later to match the human intelligence
-with fear, humans will initially try to deny artificial intelligence
-but as time passes on, people will follow more convenient style of life, with the aid of developed artificial intelligence
-cancelling the regulations on the artificial intelligence, humans will face a grim situation that they have created for themselves: the very destruction of humanity by artificial intelligence . Conclusion: . Survival of the Fittest … Continue . . .

Introduction
“There was never a good war, or a bad peace.”
Benjamin Franklin’s sage words underline the fundamental flaw of the war in Afghanistan, a bloody and endless war that has raged on for nearly a decade. In 2003, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) assumed control of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), which first started out as a multinational coalition whose primary purpose was to oust the Taliban from Afghanistan. However, what seemed to be a promising fight for democracy and human rights turned out to be a hopeless conflict in the Middle East. Thousands of civilians have been killed in vain while the situation in the country continues to rapidly deteriorate, with various factions caught up in power struggle. “Resolved: South Korea should begin privatizing national health care service” — Debate Speech – Prime Minister: Lee JunHo (CheongShim Interntional Academy) A sample from afar of what is possible, here (as few have taken up the challenge here, so far). … December 7, 2009 (JunHo’s Blog) …
Good Night Ladies and Gentlemen, I see that all of you here have resisted the urge to stay in dorm and rest. However, I would like to insist that being here today means a lot to the society since we are debating about privatizing national health care insurance.
Today we have gathered here under Mr. Johnson to talk about whether our country should privatize national health care insurance or not. Before we go into the substantial debate, I would first like to make some definitions in order to make this debate flow smoother.
The government would like to define national health care insurance as a health service the government provides to the citizens and privatizing as a gradual privatization, not a sudden privatization
Moreover, we will be presenting three main arguments. First privatizing will result in cheaper price. Second it will result in better service. Lastly we will be arguing why privatization will inevitably succeed in Korea. (Continue Reading … )
